Research
My research is dynamic and ever-changing, reflecting my relationship with artistry. Currently I am exploring works for horn and electronics and their relationship to effective concert programming as well as designing an interactive performance software. My newest lecture, "Effective Extended Techniques", recently debuted at the 2026 Florida French Horn Festival.
Social Media & Music Careers" has been a great success with college aged audiences and has previously been presented at The International Women's Brass Conference,Florida State University, Furman University, The University of Akron, the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, and Wichita State University.

As a product of my research on gender and brass playing I have created a two-part lecture series and collated a database of women brass professors in the United States, all of which can be found below.
